About the Job

Position Summary: The main functions of the IT Support Specialist are the support, troubleshooting, and configuration of applications and hardware components, all using our remote support tools. By acting as the first point of contact with our customers, the IT Specialist will be expected to provide exceptional customer service.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support assistance ( via telephone / remote control / email )
  • Record incidents reported by clients ( via telephone or email ) into help desk software
  • Support the client through the problem resolution process and/or escalate the incident to a higher level
  • Support, install, configure and troubleshoot ( all PC equipment & different types of office applications )
  • Document all work performed into help desk software
  • Schedule an onsite visit if required

The ideal candidate possesses:

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the Windows operating system environment
  • DEC, AEC or DEP; bilingual
  • Good knowledge of networking principles ( routers, switches )
  • Good knowledge of computer hardware
  • Basic knowledge of servers ( DHCP, RDP )
  • Customer service oriented; Organized, sense of prioritization, documentation skills.
  • 2-4 years experience in similar employment
  • Some Linux knowledge is an asset
  • Any Microsoft AZURE knowledge is a big PLUS
  • Using a Ticketing system ( help desk software is an asset)
  • Mobile phone

About the Job

Position Summary: The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business leads/opportunities through telephone prospecting activities. The ideal candidate has a passion for overcoming challenges, especially over the telephone, demonstrated by a proven track record.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Answer inbound sales calls about GCI from internet clients
  • Represent GCI Support Inc. in a professional manner
  • Outbound calling ( Identify and solicit potential clients )
  • Schedule appointments for an onsite visit by one of our technical specialists
  • Maintain call records in our CRM system

The ideal candidate possesses:

  • Excellent communication and active listening skills
  • Motivated for sales, Hardworking and Confident
  • Experience as a customer service rep or in sales
  • Prospecting skills, Closing skills
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a sales environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office ( word, excel, outlook )
  • Perfect command of English language (spoken and written) required
  • French is an asset

Career: Microsoft Azure Sales Representative
GCI Support is seeking a Microsoft Azure Sales Representative to drive sales and growth in its Microsoft Azure practice. The successful candidate will need to have strong experience selling Cloud or Cloud related solutions, exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Azure, relationships to leverage, and outstanding prospecting skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify accounts that have high potential for rapid cloud adoption and significant Azure revenue.
Establish deep relationships with key business and technical stockholders that have the power to drive long-term cloud adoption within their company.
Develop customer’s buying vision for how Microsoft Azure can help them reduce costs and increase business agility.
Develop and maintain healthy pipeline of business.
Required Experience:
Strong experience selling Cloud or Cloud related solutions.
Must have strong track record in selling public cloud solutions in the past.
Experience selling Microsoft software and/or solutions.
Demonstrated experience and expertise selling technology solutions to senior business and IT decision makers.
Understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends.
Experience selling implementation and managed services surrounding Microsoft Dynamics AX, CRM, or 365 a plus.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5+ years of strategic sales and/or sales account management.
Proven experience selling cloud IT infrastructure and services opportunities.
Extensive knowledge of cloud IT infrastructure and services competitive landscape.
Must be highly motivated, organized, analytical, and adaptive.
A proven track record of successfully closing complex technology sales opportunities.
Excellent prospecting skills.
